3,1-BENZOXAZINES DERIVATIVES IN RADICAL POLYMERIZATION OF METHYLMETHACRYLATE (pp. 7-10)

For the first time 3,1-benzoxazines as a regulating additive for radical polymerization of methylmethacrylate was offered. 3,1-Benzoxazines are weak inhibitors of the material-initiated polymerization. The aim of this work is to study the impact of derivatives 3,1-benzoxazine heterocycle containing one, two or three nitrogen atoms, respectively, on a real-initiated radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate. The kinetics of the real-initiated polymerization of methyl methacrylate (initiator: benzoyl peroxide — 1,93·10-3 mol/l) in the presence of investigated benzoxazines. Benzoxazines structure has a significant influence on the inhibition of the radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate initiated by benzoyl peroxide. Benzoxazine compound series as typical nitrogen-containing inhibitors real-initiated polymerization, are involved in the polymerization process and included in the macromolecules as terminal groups. Indirect evidence of this is to increase the thermal stability of the samples of polymethylmethacrylate.
The synthesized polymethylmethacrylate has typical molecular-weight distribution (Mw/Mn≈ 2) in all range of conversion and the high thermal stability.

RADICAL COPOLYMERIZATION OF METHYL METHACRYLATE AND STYRENE IN THE PRESENCE OF 5,10,15,20-TETRAKIS (3'-BUTOXYPHENYL) PORPHYRIN AND ITS METAL COMPLEXES (pp. 11-15)

The influence of 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3'-butoxyphenyl)porphyrin, its chlorine containing complex of 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3'-butoxyphenyl)porphyrin with Fe(III) and acetate complex of 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3'-butoxyphenyl)porphyrin with Co(III) on the radical copolymerization of methyl methacrylate and styrene in bulk at 60°С initiated by azo-bis-isobutironitrile was studied. Kinetics of the copolymerization of MMA and styrene in bulk at low degrees of conversion studied dilatometric method. Basic parameters of the copolymerization of MMA with styrene were determined graphically intersections Mayo-Lewis. It is shown that 5,10,15,20-tetrakis (3′-butoxyphenyl) porphyrin has no influence on the kinetic depending MMA copolymerization with styrene. The influence of porphyrins studied at the molecular-mass characteristics of the copolymers.

REGARDING THE IMPROVEMENT OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE SEPARATION OF RUBBER FROM SOLUTIONS (pp. 15-19)

The article provides a review of new patents filed by Swiss firm «LIST», dedicated to nonaqueousdevolatilization of solutions of synthetic rubber in organic solvents. The following are provided: a process flow diagram, a description of the main advantages of a nonaqueousdevolatilization process compared to the widespread aqueous devolatilization process. These advantages amount to a drastic reduction in vapor consumption and, consequently, a decrease in discharge of polluted waters. They also allow for the possibility of the return of evaporated solvent directly to the polymerization stage without additional power-intensive treatment. The patented process is characterized by an increase in power consumption. During the final stage of the devolatilization process a special agent is added in small quantities in order to decrease the overheating temperature of the rubber. This agent can be water.

CAPSULING OF LIQUID ORGANIC COMPOSITIONS WITH FINE-DISPERSED FILLERS

Organic compositions can be transformed from the liquid state to a powder by means of their capsulation with fine-dispersed fillers. The capsule shell is the solid nano-or colloidal-sized particles at that. In the work a powder of the complex antiager (PRS-1N) has been analyzed with the scanning microscopy.
Studies confirm the formation of the capsule in the treatment of liquid organic material finely dispersed fillers. The technological process of encapsulation methods should be accompanied by monitoring assessors bulk density and the ability to agglomerate the finished product.

Provides an overview of many years of research experience mechanochemical modification of polyvinyl chloride mixtures of different elastomers.
Shown to improve physical and mechanical properties of vulcanizates mixtures connected simultaneously with the chemical interaction and increased elastomeric phase PVC. Analysis of the studies allowed to determine the optimal parameters of the thermomechanical effect and to propose a mechanism of the modification reaction .The results of studies of binary mixtures of PVC with ethylene-propylene, isoprene, styrene, nitrile rubber, and butyl rubber.
It is shown that the modification of polyvinyl chloride mixtures of these elastomers improves complex mechanical and performance properties of rubber on them.

The properties of vulcanizates on the basis of binary mixtures of divinyl rubber modified by mono-, trichloroacetic acids, with polyisoprene have been investigated. It has been shown that an application of the modifying agents favors essential improvement of strength, elastic-relaxation, thermal properties of compositions which allows to expand the fields of use of the prepared materials. The investigations of physical-mechanical and technological properties of filled and unfilled, and modified vulcanizates on the basis of elastomer blends for quasi-static and dynamic loading have been carried out. Thermal stability of the vulcanizates was evaluated by the derivatographic method of decomposition activation energy of oxidative degradation in the temperature range of 280-340°C. It is shown that the combined use of TU with modifying agents in binary mixtures of polymers leads to the improved strength properties of the system and also favors increase of the thermal stability of the compositions.

COPOLYMERIZATION OF UNSATURATED COMPOUNDS CONTAINED STILL BOTTOMS RETURN CLEANING SOLVENT PRODUCTION POLYBUTADIENE IN THE PRESENCE OF ALUMINUM CHLORIDE
The problem of obtaining low molecular weight copolymers based on unsaturated compounds contained in the bottoms return purification solvent in the presence of polybutadiene production of aluminum chloride. The aim of this work is tostudy the process of the preparation of polymeric materials based on unsaturated compounds bottoms clean return of the solvent (toluene) of polybutadiene production and the possibility of using synthetic product for solution of antioxidant, followed by mixing with a solution of polybutadiene. It is shown that the obtained toluene solution of low molecular weight copolymers can be used in the production of polybutadiene antioxidant to prepare a solution.

The article is about preparation process of plasticizer dioktylterephthalate (based on recycled PET and petrochemical production by-product) development. The research shows that use of terephthalic acid derived by PET-wastes chemical recycling does not cause any technical difficulties and provides a plasticizer with good operational properties.
